THE THEATRE AND DRAMA OF A SPIT ROAST NEVER FAILS TO CREATE A TALKING POINT OF ANY EVENT. COMBINED WITH THE DELICIOUS SMELLS AND SIZZLING MEAT, YOU WILL DINE LIKE KINGS ON THE ROAST OF YOUR CHOOSING.

With a varied range of side dishes to accompany your main course, we guarantee a delicious, well balanced meal. 

Barbeques are always a popular choice for events, providing a variety of options which will please even the most choosy guest! Or why not have a combination of a roast & a bbq incorporating all your favourites in one tasty meal.  


We can cater for weddings, parties, business functions & private dinner parties of all sizes.

Hog Roasts:

We only use local produce & ensure we source from sustainable stock. To accompany your delicious hog roast we will supply bread rolls, apple sauce & butter. In addition you may wish to take advantage of our range of salads, hot potato & roasted vegetable dishes. We can also provide canapes and a superb selection of homemade desserts.

BBQs:

We can offer anything from your traditional BBQ of chicken breast, sausage & burgers with salads, rolls & sauces to marinated meats, fajitas, ribs, fish and vegetarian options. We will work with you to provide a personalized menu, so if you fancy an Italian, Greek or Moroccan themed BBQ party or a fabulous build-your-own burger party with a selection of delicious toppings contact us with your ideas.

The Fantastic roasting machine:

Our roasting machine that does more than just hogs & lamb. TFRM has a rotisserie rack & a smoker which adds the lovely dimension of poultry or game & the option of adding a wonderful smoked flavour to the meals.

Why not remove all the stress and hassle from your event by letting us take on the role of Event Manager. We will be with you through every process, sourcing suppliers, overseeing deliveries, room decoration, recommend photographers & can organise the provision of a bar.

 
 

Friends & Venues:

Lower Campscott farm.

Introducing Lower Campscott Farm, near Lee - A picturesque, welcoming & practical venue for any type of get-together. We have joined forces with the owners Kathy & Tony to offer a multitude of packages from birthday parties to mini festival and weddings. 

The cottages can accommodate up to 40 guests with an additional camping field, pitch space for up to 10 tents. Parking in abundance & the site is heated by an immense biofuel boiler, meaning a lovely cozy stay all through the year.Plenty of space to erect marquees for larger events and a second smaller function room.

With over 25 years experience in catering and a degree in hotel and catering management you can rest assured that you are in safe experienced hands with Vicky at the helm of your event. Currently proprietor of award winning Wild Thyme Cafe in Braunton. Visit the cafe to sample a selection of amazing food and superb atmosphere.

Sara

Chef

With over 6 years in event catering Sara has been involved in many aspects. Previous events have ranged from mass catering of 800 people to Masterchef Live & Taste of Christmas shows working with Roast Restaurant and fine dining working alongside Cyrus Todiwala.

How Wild Thyme Events came to be - Meeting of 'The Braun & The Brain' 

Sara took a job as breakfast & lunch chef in Wild Thyme Cafe, Braunton. It was obvious very quickly that she needed more to keep her happy, events being where her heart lay. With Sara's many events' experience & Vicky's customer & supplier relations the Braun & the Brain came together to create - WILD THYME EVENT CATERING. The result = many fun times with very happy clients & an incredibly successful working relationship. Our passion for any event means our absolute commitment to creating yours a day to remember.
